Please note: Our high ropes course will only be open on Saturdays and Sundays (including some school districts PA days) from May 3rd until the end of June 2025, it will then be available 7 days a week throughout the summer. We maintain the highest standards of safety by providing all staff and participants with the necessary safety equipment to use while on the course, including training instruction, helmets, and safety harnesses.
Our fully-trained guides are stationed throughout the course to assist you if you need help. We have daily, monthly and annual inspections to ensure our equipment, gear, and courses are kept at the highest safety rating.
The Homestead Adventure Park high ropes course offers action and adventure with an awesome view. Our family-friendly attraction is approximately 13 feet (4 meters) off the ground with over 16 different suspended rope challenges.
Height: The minimum height allowed is 3’6″. The maximum height allowed is 6’6″.
Age: Children 12 and under must be supervised by an adult. The adult is not required to participate in the high ropes challenges however we encourage you to conquer your fear of heights and get out and have some fun!
Weight Restrictions: Adventurers must weigh under 275lbs.
Toddler harnesses: If your child is under 3'6" please inquire about our toddler harnesses and availability.
Equipment Fit: Despite the above requirements, only participants who properly fit in the available harnesses and helmets may participate.
Attire: Closed-toe shoes are required for all participants. No loose articles must be worn. Long hair is to be tied back. No headwear is allowed under park provided helmets. Pockets are to be emptied to reduce the likelihood of things falling onto other park visitors and spectators below.
Safety Gear: All participants must wear a harness and helmet. Only Homestead Adventure Park equipment is approved to be used on the High Ropes Course. The harness is permanently fixed to a safety line and will catch you should you fall. Should you slip on the course and find yourself dangling and unable to move an instructor will rescue you.
Health & Medical Limitations: Participants must have sufficient physical dexterity and the ability to use the equipment properly. Participants must be able to climb one flight of stairs unassisted to participate. If you have back, neck, spinal injuries, heart conditions, or any other medical conditions that may hinder your enjoyment of the attraction, you may not participate. If pregnant, or suspect pregnancy, you should not participate.
Other: Persons suffering the effects of alcohol or drugs will be prohibited from use.
Weather: Conditions permitting. In an event of a storm, including but not limited to winds in excess of 50km/hr and lightning strikes, Management will suspend outdoor activities, you will be allowed to resume when safe to do so.
All participants are required to act responsibly and courteously at all times and to respect other participants.
Homestead Adventure Park employees shall be entitled to prohibit any person from undertaking or completing the activities in the event it deems the behaviour of any participant unsuitable.
All ticket purchases are non-refundable. We know sometimes plans have to change, and It’s important to us that you still have the option to enjoy a fun-filled day with friends and family.
You can change, reschedule or cancel your activity up to 48 hours prior to your original activity date.
If you cancel your activity, a digital gift card for the full value of your activity will be sent to the email address you provided at the original time of purchase. Activities cannot be changed, rescheduled or canceled within 48 hours of your activity date and you will be subject to the full ticket price.
In fairness to all guests, participants with reserved bookings who fail to show for their reserved booking time and provide no prior notice of cancellation are liable for the entire booking cost. The No-Show Policy is applicable to all participants, including individual participants within a group booking.
* No-shows are not eligible for monetary refund, credit, gift certificate, rescheduling of the event, or any other reimbursement. The entire booking cost will be forfeited.
